New Hampshire Funeral Directors & Embalmers Association (NHFDA) OSHA Services from Certified Safety Training

The New Hampshire Funeral Directors Association announces a new partnership with Certified Safety Training (CST), the official OSHA safety provider to the NFDA and now NHFDA.

Certified Safety Training (CST) is the leader in funeral home and cemetery OSHA compliance. Backed by more than 30 years of industry experience and Certified Safety Professionals, CST matches industry expertise with customizable award-winning programming to make sure that customers have the highest-quality safety programs, plans, training, and advice.

Mark Harrison, President of CST stated that, “We are thrilled to be partnering with NHFDA to help their members reach their compliance goals and avoid the most common funeral home OSHA fines. As with any good education company, we are starting off with a short funeral home compliance quiz for NHFDA members to see if they can match the most common OSHA violations with their corresponding fines.”

The NHFDA and CST will offer Complete OSHA Compliance Program online and in-person, along with COVID-19 Prevention Programs and Online Training in the following topics:

  • Emergency Action and Fire Safety Training
  • Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Training
  • Hazard Communication Training
  • Respiratory Protection Training
  • Personal Protective Equipment Training
  • Spill Response Program Training
  • Formaldehyde Exposure Control Training

Peter C. Morin, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Funeral Directors & Embalmers Association, stated that “The NHFDA is pleased to offer a unique NHFDA member benefit opportunity with Certified Safety Training (CST). To assist the NHFDA member funeral homes and funeral directors in making their OSHA compliance objectives and avoiding non-compliance issues is an important service the NHFDA is able to offer them with CST.”

“It’s important to recognize that you don’t need a ‘Safety and Environmental Empire,’ says Mark Harrison. “We believe you can meet federal and state safety and environmental requirements without going broke and focusing on what matters, not what doesn’t.”

In the near future, NHFDA and CST will be partnering on additional services including seminars and educational courses.
