Funeral Home Safety Audits


Our Funeral Home Safety Audit presents complex, technical regulations in plain English, and includes federal safety requirements.

We provide specific dollar amounts (e.g., $2,100), for the initial OSHA fine received by a funeral home.

We follow each safety audit question with a number (e.g., 1910.37), which refers to the specific regulation violated. All references are to Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations (29 CFR). The audit covers:

New York State Funeral Directors Association

The New York State Funeral Directors Association (NYSFDA) is among the oldest association of funeral directors in the United States. With 900 funeral homes members all needing to comply with strict OSHA standards in everything from Bloodborne Pathogens to Hazard Communications to Emergency Action Plans, and more, the NYSFDA turn to Certified Safety Training to deliver fully compliant OSHA training.

Arizona Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Association

The Arizona Funeral Directors Association (ACCA) was formed in 1958 and the Arizona Cemetery Association was formed soon after. Both organizations have had a successful history of longevity. The ACCA looks to Certified Safety Training to deliver fully compliant OSHA training.

Missouri Funeral Directors & Embalmers Association

The Missouri Funeral Directors & Embalmers Association (MOFEDA) is among the oldest association of funeral directors in the United States. To comply with strict OSHA standards in Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communications, Emergency Action Plans, and more, MOFEDA offers it's members a turnkey OSHA training course.
